Welcome to the Blog!

This blog exists for three reasons:

  1. To provide an environment for me to share what God has shown me in my own planting journey over the past five years-the good, the bad, and the ugly. I hope to drop at least one bite a week or so through both text and HD video.
  2. To serve as a ‘clearing house’ for the ‘best of the best’  content from other writers that I find along the way in my own research and daily reading. As you will see, I am starting with what has most deeply impacted me from the Resurgence and the Acts 29 blogs, but will branch out from there to other planters I know and from other helpful sources.
  3. To serve as an encouragement to the countless number of pastors who may or may not ever pastor large, rapidly growing churches. Though conferences may lead us to believe otherwise, this experience will not be that of most men. My hope is that this blog can will “speak up for the little guy” and offer equipping, resourcing, and networking for the glory of God and the good of the world.

Like all blogs, part of what makes this work is you. I welcome your comments, thoughts, links and helping us get the word out. Thanks!

Dustin

I have received great words from you already…”I don’t want to see you waste the next three years of your life…” So, I am looking forward to your “asking the questions the rest of us are thinking” approach. Thanks!
