So, all of us have moments that we wish had never happened.
Broccoli in the teeth.
Bad breath on the date.
Gas in the elevator (don’t lie, you know you did it).
I love this video (thanks Justin Taylor!) because it shows us one of THOSE moments.
And as you laugh…please don’t laugh at him.
Laugh because it IS funny and because this is the nature of life and because we’ve all been there.
And you will be there again.

A Few Things We Can Learn about Church Leadership from John Daker:
1. For church revitalizers: sometimes the person who precedes you is a little (or a lot) shifty. Think the “piano lady.”
2. “Firstunitedmethodistchurch” is actually all one word. Get it right UMC’ers.
3. The song of life (and ministry) keeps playing whether you know what to say or not. So learn your Bible and listen to Jesus.
4. Nearly nothing in life and ministry goes as planned. You just have to press into Jesus and keep on going.
5. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY…be careful what you do on camera because it may end up on YouTube. ; )
